Problem with my hp pavilion dv6700 laptop?

I was on the laptop the other day and the battery was low so i quickly shut the laptop down by holding the power button in. Later on the night i went to go on the laptop and on the start up said that it is recommended to launch start up repair and it started scanning the computer for problems and then attempt to fix them. But it then said that the problem was not fixed now if i turn the laptop on it turns itself of any ideas on how i can fix this?
